Music history

Music history is also known as historical musicology. Musicology is the study about the composition, reception, performance and many more. Historical study of music is more important. Music history is the study of the history any kind of music. It is categorized into two parts such as ethnomusicology or cultural studies. Music history includes many sources such as paleography, style criticism, philology, musical analysis, iconography, historiography and many more. To make the music is very difficult and it includes composers, musicians, words and music. Music varies between times and places and also varies between regions and periods. Prehistoric music is entirely different from new trend music. The origin of music includes sounds, rhythms, patterns, repetition and tonality. There are wide ranges of sounds available such as singing, humming, clicking, coughing, whistling, yawning and many more. Classical music is the tradition of Hindu. Hindustani music was found in North India. It include two forms such as classical and semi- classical forms.
