Hindustani music

Hindustani music is developed in North India. It has two classifications such as classical and semi- classical. Hindustani music is implemented by the instruments, style of presentation and ragas like Bhairavi, Bahar, Hijaz Bhairav, Yaman and many more. It has many different folk tunes. The folk tunes include Kafi and Jaijaiwanti. There are many kinds of instruments associated with this music. The stringed tanpura is most common instrument. Some of the musical instruments are the sarangi and the harmonium. Hindustani classical music consists of the prime themes of various ragas. The time duration ranges from long to short and it is depending on the raga. Hindustani music is called as North Indian Classical Music. It is more popular in the North India. It is mostly based on the raga system. In general, raga includes seven things such as sa, re, ga, ma, pa, dha and ni. It is made with the innumerable combinations.
